Welcoming Vasupal Pragna to the Team as a New PhD Student!

We are delighted to welcome Vasupal Pragna, our newest PhD student, who has joined the group through the RAMP-UP programme!
Pragna will investigate inhibitory neuron dysfunction in psychiatric disorders, using disease modelling to identify potential new therapeutic targets. This research will be conducted in collaboration with Alexander Santillo, Konstantin Khodosevich (University of Copenhagen), and Arnim Gaebler (University of Aachen). By bringing together expertise in neuroscience, psychiatry, stem cell biology, and disease modelling, the project aims to advance our understanding of how inhibitory neuron dysfunction contributes to psychiatric disorders and uncover new avenues for therapeutic discovery.
Pragna was selected through a highly competitive recruitment process, and we are thrilled to have her join the team. We look forward to the exciting discoveries and collaborations ahead!
